I’m Chris.
Filmmaker / Director.
A filmmaker, a dancer, a husband, and a father. Ornamental Films is where those parts of my life meet.
For more than a decade, I’ve filmed weddings with a fascination for people: how they move, what makes them laugh, and how much they can say without speaking. Dance taught me to notice those things. A pause can hold as much feeling as a room full of movement. Both deserve a place in the film.
Marriage and fatherhood have given that work a deeper meaning. I think about the people a film holds onto—their voices, their expressions, the small ways they show you love. What feels ordinary today can become the part you treasure most.
That’s what I bring to your wedding: an artist’s eye, years of experience, and a personal understanding of why this matters. I want to get to know you, find the character of your celebration, and make something you recognize yourselves in. A film with beauty, personality, and a life beyond the wedding day.
